Hi, I just read your article concerning your Dad. I am a female, had inquinal hernia surgery last December. The surgeon tells me I have nerve damage and that is what is causing my pain. He gave me celebrex and neurontin, if that doesn't work I will have to take shots to block the pain. I am very active and find it difficult to continue my physical activities. Hope your Dad is getting better.
