I also had hernia surgery; that went wrong. my right leg wouldn't move after surgery and 10 days later they went back in and said that the illo-inguinal nerve was cut during the surgery and he couldn't find the ends to put it back together. So he cut out the damaged part. finally after 3 months of continued pain I was sent to a nerve specialist, he is tring Illo-inguinal nerve block shots.also called Steroid epidural injections. I had my 1st one today. He saids it will calm down the nerve that is causing the pain. It takes a set of shots over a few weeks. I hope I helped alittle.
